COMMUNITY HOUR CLASSES MEET @ 10:15am AFTER WORSHIP ON SUNDAY MORNINGS
WHY IS COMMUNITY IMPORTANT?
The Bible tells us that Scripture is God-breathed (2 Tim. 3:16) and is USEFUL. So what does it look like when we USE Scripture? When we TEACH with it, INSTRUCT with it, and and allow it to CHANGE us? This is where discipleship starts, when we begin to transform our hearts and minds to no longer be conformed to the patterns of this world, but to the living and active WORD OF GOD! The Christian life is meant to be RELATIONAL, let’s start relating with one another today!

A friendly group of believers seeking to study and understand the Bible better, provide support and encouragement to each other on our spiritual journey, and represent Christ in our community, workplaces, and church.
We spend time each Sunday examining different scriptures of the Bible, discussing how what we learn intersects with our daily life, and praying for each other’s family and personal needs. Our most recent study was centered on what the Bible says about setting goals. Prior studies have included the books of Job, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Luke, Acts, Ephesians, and others. We currently consist of couples from 20 somethings to 40 somethings as well as a few young adult singles.
Challenger class: located in Education wing

The class has been together 40 plus years. They rotate who teaches the lesson using a series of books, based on the Bible. Then they have a discussion regarding the lesson. They have 30-40 active members.

Both our Fidelis Class and Challenger Class are awesome Community Hour opportunities for Senior Adults at Goodlettsville Church
We have opportunities for every stage of life from young adults to parents, and from blended families to students… we have a group for you!
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 tells us that “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them us.”
In the book of Acts, we see that the newly formed Church was meeting and worshiping together, actively involving themselves in fellowship with other believers and in the study of the Word. What did all these early church members have in common? They were all NEW believers! Maybe you’re a new believer, or maybe you’ve been a Christian for years and need to reignite the spark you once felt when the Spirit first moved in your heart! It is our hope that you will get connected to a life group at Goodlettsville Church with other people JUST LIKE YOU, doing life together, and encouraging one another in the faith.
