Young Adult & College Age Mission Trip to Puerto Rico
December 29-Jan 4, 2018
In September of 2017, Puerto Rico endured two of the most powerful hurricanes to ever hit the Caribbean. The hurricanes left no community on the island untouched. Devastation, tragedy, and heartache remained as the hurricanes departed. Through it all, the church remained united and committed to serving their communities.
Through Praying Pelican Mission Trips, we will be teamed up with a local church & it’s community in some of the most deeply impacted areas to help them rebuild, clean up & minister to one another.  We will be able to immerse ourselves in the rich, family oriented culture of Puerto Rico by staying in the community we will be serving while working side by side & building relationships with those families.  Some of the things we will be doing include clean up & light construction as well as working with the children & families in the community.
This trip is being headed up by Hallie Medlock, one of our college students with a passion for using her gifts to help those in need.  With the help of her team & you, Hallie believes God wants to use us to help our brothers & sisters in Christ rebuild their community.
Cost for the mission trip will be $1,500-$1,700 per person – this includes round trip airfare, transportation in PR, meals & accommodations.  We will be doing some fundraising to help cover the costs of trip.
If you are interested, please submit the form below on or before 4/15/2018 & make plans to attend the meeting at Goodlettsville Church on April 15, 2018 at 11:30am.  If you can’t attend but would like to support those going financially, you can make a tax-deductible contribution to Goodlettsville Church – Puerto Rico Mission Trip.
